BioIn October, I will have been married for 22 years. My children range in age from 5 to 20 and my 17 year old will be going to a university in New York in September.
We will miss her very much (although, we could use the room. :P)
I own a greasy hamburger joint that is a haven for the teens in town. Due to the recession, we saved our business by offering 3 cheeseburgers for $5 (a value burger offer much like McDonalds).
My taste in music is quite eclectic as I love Motown, alternative, 70's (and even some 80's), garage bands, and folk.
Country music is the music of the devil...
I still write in the Queer as Folk fandom, namely Brian and Justin. These two have been my addiction for the past 3 years. :)
I also write in the Orlibean (Orlando Bloom/Sean Bean) RPS fandom.
Reading wise, my interests have veered off into House/Chase but I still read in the Orlando fandoms (God that man is sexy!)
In the past 20 years, the only television shows I have watched have been Babylon 5, Monk, the X-Files, Buffy and Angel, Queer as Folk, Six Feet Under, Dexter and House.
That's pretty much it. I don't want to get too addicted to too many shows and I have a tendency to do just that.
Obviously, per my username, it was because I was once addicted to Spike from the Buffy series. I have so much love for that man. He still is (aside from Dexter) one of the most interesting and complex people on tv.
Regarding my icon journal: You may take any of the icons I have shown as long as you credit the original creator. If I made the icon, you can take as long as you credit me. Don't take any of the ones that are non-shareable please.
You may friend me, but I only friend back if you communicate with me on a regular basis. As for my fic, I love feedback. I will answer it no matter how old the fic, it just might take me a while sometimes.
