First fic request - from Justin's Baby verse

So here is a snippet for charlie_jae, the first person to request something tonight.

And what did Ms. Charlie want? Something from the Justin's Baby verse, of course! LOL!

So here's a little ditty about some missionaries who come across the apartment building. If you've been reading the fic, you know which one I'm talking about. :)

Kurt was on a mission.

What's-his-name was on one too.

Oh yeah, John.

John Wadsworth.

The kid went on and on about the Book, his Faith, and God, yadda yadda yadda.

He was pretty sick of it by now. This was the third kid they sent him. John had gone on and on about how excited he was to 'spread the Word of the Lord!'

Hallelujah! Amen! Pass the fucking Tylenol.

It's not that Kurt doesn't believe. Because he believes.

Oh he believes because when he passes that building, the beautiful old apartment building on that quiet street, ha can feel It.

It's cold. It's dark.

It's ancient.

An ancient Evil that draws all the warmth in the area surrounding you, making you wonder if it could ever be replaced again.

Kurt called this walk through the neighborhood his little test he runs on every new missionary they send him. He walks them past that building and sees what happens.

And as they walked by the building today, John seeming to never shut up once during the whole time, he looked up at the window at the very top.

And there It was. The curtain had been drawn before, but it was if He knew Kurt would be there today. He could see Him looking down at him, his arms crossed over his chest, a smirk gracing his face.

The Book had been right because He was the most beautiful Angel.

Even a Fallen One.

He watched as John Wadsworth, the apple of the the Parish he had come from in Home, Pennsylvania, the best student the good Reverend Parker had sworn by, walked by the building and stopped.

Maybe John would be different...

"Are you coming or what? What's the matter with you?" John asked perplexed.

No, nothing was different.

Because John Wadsworth was just like all the other missionaries that had come before him. Big Talk but no real Faith.

But Kurt had it.

Because this place proved it.

Shivering as he looked up at the window one more time, the curtain covering the glass panes once again, Kurt continued to walk on, listening to the inane prattle coming from John's mouth, wondering how long it would take him to get warm this time.

The End

Hope this works for you! :)
