Question for my readers (or anyone really)
I'm racking my brain on this one but, if Emmett were to have a favorite musical, what would it be? And it would have to be one with lots of costumes, a real extravaganza!

I don't really know that much about musicals - the only ones I like are Sound of Music, My Fair Lady and Oliver.

Those won't work. Thanks in advance.

plus if you've never seen that musical...really, a barbara musical where she ends up with JACK NICHOLSON!!! c'mon... it doesn't get more bizarre or more fun that that.

She ends up with Jack Nicholson! LUCKY!

I first fell in love with Jack when I saw him in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Then I saw him in Tommy. Now there's a musical I love but sadly, I don't think Emmett would be into it.

I think you're right - Barbara and Funny Girl and the whole thing with clearday.

i forget WHEN i fell in love with Jack...but i KNOW i loved him in clear day.

but if you want to NOT go obvious...go with funny girl, (obvious based on the fact that he named himself after that musical)

um, yeah, either one has faboo costumes and stuff... and i'm sure you can find a few images on google to get an idea of the costuming for either.

k, SUN for real now, trying to write KIT....

how the fuck do nine year olds sound? it always sounds like white noise to me when they're speaking.

White noise! LOL!

I have a nine year-old son and when he's done something he shouldn't have, he mumbles so I can hear it but I can't actually make out what it is he said. They don't tend to scream and run around but they get very loud when they want everyone to hear what it is they're saying - no matter where you are (seriously, no matter where).

Yeah, Emmett talked alot about Barbara. What time period are the costumes? What kind of costumes?
Total Word Saladepicallytired on June 17th, 2006 01:24 am (UTC)
Clear day has tons of times and costumes because she has the ability to see her past lives so there's victoran garb and late sixties garb...

her NIGHTGOWN is the same material as her sheets!!!

and seriously outragous costuming for both times.

Funny Girl is twenties, ziegfeied follies and flapper stuff, and something about a ruffled linen shirt on Omar sharif...

Maria: Clapping Tiggerslave_o_spike on June 17th, 2006 01:32 am (UTC)
Oh God - Funny Girl is the 20's - flappers would be perfect!

And the ruffled shirt - oh God - I can see it now...

This will work perfectly!!

Thank you!!

(BTW - you can pick someone to go into the sausage - I still have final say though!)
