Pics of my kids and other stuff...
Good news. My What to do when you're doing hard time Orlibean standalone was well received. I was a bit afraid it wouldn't.

Someone asked how I was able to make people, sociopaths specifically, likable.

I think back to my making the Queer as Folk gang cannibals and all I can say is:

It's a gift.

It's just that I'm not sure being the criminally insane's spokesperson is a good idea. :P

So I'm not sure, but it's been a looooong time since I've posted some pics of the kids. Under the cut are a few of Donovan and Rowan (my two youngest).

Just in case you've ever wondered where someone like me lives, I can assure you it's not in a white, padded room.

So here is the waterfall that's in the forest behind our property:

I don't know but they look awfully guilty:

Playing hide and seek in the forest:

And here's Donovan disrupting the badminton game at the annual 4th of July bonanza:

You will also note Rowan and Griffon's butt in the background, getting ready to set off some minor fireworks.

"Aw sweet success! I have acquired a racket and a birdie! Victory is mine!"

"Too little to play, huh? Well I'll show them. I've got all the birdies!" *Mwhahahaha

"No Rowan! You swing from the bars!!!"

I wish I had gotten some better pics of Griffon on the 4th. Next to Christmas, it's his favorite holiday.

He loves the big mortars and the splashy stuff that hubby brings out at night, but he adores the minor ones that he can set off for fun.

Just so you know, I'm sticking to my resolve to write an hour each day.

So, go me!!!!!

Great pics! How hard is it keeping them ut of the water? My boys would be in there all the time.

I have a firework nut too, he gets it from my father . The louder and brighter the better.

Love the pic of Donovan holding the one birdie, that look is going to get him into, and out of, so much trouble!

Actually, they're pretty good about making sure I'm with them when they go. *wipes forehead in relief*

We also have a big lake nearby and that's where Griffon wants to go all the time. The kids have gone kayaking in it.

Yep, the louder and brighter the better. Hubby's gotten very good at buying fireworks over the years. He now selects just the right ones that put on an amazing show. :)

Yeah, Donovan already has everyone eating out of the palm of his hand. When we were at the urgent care center, getting him looked at for his spider bites and rash, he was just sitting on the table quietly and shyly and all the nurses were trying to get him to talk to them with stickers and stuff. When they closed the door, he smiled at me.

LOL! What an operator!

Okay, that sounded more evil than what it really was, but you get the hint. :)
