New Banner and Griffon's first dance
Look at the banner my daughter, Alex, made for me for my cannibal story!!!

Photobucket

She was so happy to see me posting again so she made me this.

Just in case anyone missed it, I just posted two updates:

Chapter 17 - wherein Chris Hobbs comes to dinner
and

Chapter 18 - wherein Brian ponders Physics

Now I'm off to yet another Curriculum Night (Griffon's). Well, at least, this will be the last one this year.

Speaking of Griffon, (who is 11 and in the 6th grade) he just went to his first Middle School Dance (Jr. High to people who don't know what middle school is) Friday night.

*sigh*

They grow up so fast.

He kept talking about this one girl for the rest of the night when I picked him up.

*double sigh*

She did a brilliant job of the banner.

Oh my about Griffon. They do grow up fast, don't they? I'm glad my 12 and 14 year old are more interested in their computer games than girls yet.

I know!!!!! She did a great job! :)

Griffon, up to about 3 months ago, only had eyes for his legos, PS2, his dirt bike and camping.

Now when I asked him what he wants for Christmas, about a month ago he told me about all these lego sets. Now he says he wants an ipod! LOL!

But I still see him sneak in a game or two...

With my guys it's all about the FPS games (that's first person shooter, not fictional person slash *g*). I dunno if that's a good thing or not! LOL

I didn't respond to this right away as I was waiting to see what happened. LOL!

We just hooked the PS2 back up (we had it disconnected for the whole summer and the very beginning of school). They have been playing non-stop Batman Lego and some other games Griffon missed.

It might be time to disconnect the thing again...

And LOL! Re the FPS: I didn't think they were into the game where Legolas gets to do the entire fellowship if he gets to 70 points of something like that. LOL! (This game does not exist but it so should!)

I'm about ready to toss the elflings computer out the door. LOL Lucky for them the school break is over soon and they'll be back to school next week!

LOL I want that game!
