Flooding and generated thingies
I've been AWOL. Selling tiny cheeseburgers you see.

Anywho, anyone hear about the ridiculous flooding here in Washington State? First the snow (and we had TONS of it) and NOW, NOW the flooding.

I no longer have a road in front of my house. I do have someone's water heater...and dog igloo...and ROOF! We had to trek across my neighbor's yard through a foot and a half of water to get to our house. (This is the neighbor who lost her roof yesterday in the 100 mph windstorm that...*snickers*...blew through here).

I hate weather right now...

So I want to have some fun right now. Have you seen these?

Your challenge is to write crossover fanfiction combining Cinderella and Night of the Living Dead.
The story should use unplanned pregnancies as a plot device!

Generated by the Terrible Crossover Fanfiction Idea Generator

Oh, this could be so wrong - I mean, ole Cindy giving birth to a zombie baby.

Yeah...Bippity boppity boo and whadya got?

The baby from Peter Jackson's Brain Dead is what ya got.

Your challenge is to write crossover fanfiction combining Romeo & Juliet and Alf.
The story should use suicide as a plot device!

Generated by the Terrible Crossover Fanfiction Idea Generator

Alf killing himself at the end when he finds his Juliet dead at her own hands.

The tragedy of that whole story is Alf quoting Shakespeare.

Your challenge is to write crossover fanfiction combining Dexter and Finding Nemo.
The story should use shopping for a Wii as a plot device!

Generated by the Terrible Crossover Fanfiction Idea Generator

Oh where do I go with this one? So little Nemo gets lost while shopping for a Wii Down Under, Dexter comes across little Nemo and Dorrie, who can't seem to remember a damn thing.

Dexter decides she must be evil because he has flashbacks of an evil woman who sounded just like Ellen and we all are treated to sushi ala Dorrie.

Okay, I could do these for fucking ever but I'll stop now. :P

Yes, I'm slowly losing my mind right now...oh look, I can't see my walk way anymore...

Please divert my attention. I beg of you...

Sorry about the weather! Hang in there!

I have had so much fun since discovering the Terrible Idea Generator yesterday! The best one I got was Spongebob Squarepants crossed with Atlas Shrugged, with anal sex as a plot device. The mind boggles.
Maria: Golem and Spongebobslave_o_spike on January 8th, 2009 03:21 am (UTC)
Does Spongebob actually have an anus?

And if he did, would he really be a bottom?
Betsy: angel_i_feel_a_sin_coming_onangelspike69 on January 8th, 2009 03:36 am (UTC)
This has been a crazy winter hasn't it? And we are only 3 weeks in. I guess because of all the snow and how slow it was to melt, the ground is really saturated. Now all this rain...all week. Flooding, landslides, and avalanches....oh my!!!!!!

It's Mother Nature at her best...showing off and putting us in our place...showing us how insignificant we humans really are.
Maria: Snake Pliskinslave_o_spike on January 8th, 2009 03:47 am (UTC)
And we really are, aren't we? I mean, seriously,I think she's telling us we were stupid to build Snoqualmie Ridge (which was once pristine forest and a great place for run off and is now heavily developed).

I keep hearing the people who said, 'well, at least the rain is here and that'll melt the snow.' Um...where did they think the snow once melted would go?
Betsy: booth_huhangelspike69 on January 9th, 2009 04:30 am (UTC)
I know. It has no where to go since the ground is already so saturated.
simplyshanni on January 8th, 2009 03:43 am (UTC)
Oh, Maria, have I ever been thinking about you with all this massive rain we're getting!!! Yikes! As usual, it sounds like you're getting it worse than we are in our section of Washington.

I'm sorry about your street, hon, and your neighbor's roof! We've had one helluva lot of rain, but we didn't get the big winds you had in North Bend. Hope your restaurant is high and dry and out of any flood zones! I'll be thinking good thoughts for you, and hoping you stay as dry as possible! *keeping fingers crossed*

We live on a lake, but luckily we're on a steep hill so our property terraces down five levels to the water. Some of our neighbor's aren't so lucky! As of 4:30 this afternoon, three homes that are on the same level as the lake itself were in danger of flooding. From our angle up on the hill, it looked like the water level was about ten feet from their back door! My heart just goes out to them because this isn't the first time that this has happened to them. They had the same problem four years ago!

Thanks for the giggle with the 'Terrible Crossover Fanfiction Generator'! Too, too funny and, as usual, your wacky imagination astounds me!

Love ya, sweetie. If you need someone to commiserate with over our 'glorious' weather, give me a call!

Maria: Orlando sighingslave_o_spike on January 8th, 2009 03:53 am (UTC)
I was going to call you today but as usual guess what happened?

I got an order for 12 of the new value cheeseburgers. LOL!

Anywho, we actually live pretty high up but its all the run off from the mountains coming down and creating rivers in my neighbor's yard (and my side yard *wibble*).

Our actual house and back yard and most of our property is set pretty high so we're okay, it's just getting to our house and then the lower part of the property (the driveway which has eroded to a very, very narrow path).

The restaurant is okay. If the Snoqualmie River rises above 5 feet though, the main road in Fall City will be closed. Carnation has been cut off from us and so has Snoqualmie. Most of North Bend is shut down. We have to go through Wilderness Rim to get to our house and they're working on the 90 where it seems to be eroding away.

It's really scary. *wibbles*
simplyshanni on January 8th, 2009 04:03 am (UTC)
Typical! Like I've said before, if you're ever in need of business, just give me a call, or even just think about it, apparently! *sporfle*

I'm so glad you're safe and high enough that you don't need to worry too much about the flooding, but you're right, it's damned scarey! *cuddles Maria* Mother Nature can be a terrifying bitch, can't she?

zortrana: The End is nearzortrana on January 8th, 2009 06:52 am (UTC)
Could you please send some of your water to put out our fire?

*coughs up a charcoal briquette*

And it's your turn to take the wind again tomorrow because even 200 firefighters can't stop a blaze that changes directions randomly in 87 mile an hour gusts.

*sneezes up an ashtray*

I mean, WTF?? Is this global warming??

Stay safe!!!
simplyshanni on January 8th, 2009 07:13 am (UTC)
Oh, hon! I'm so sorry you're going through that! If it was in my power to send some rain your way, I'd do it in half a heartbeat!

My family (husband and son) are fire fighters so I know all about the danger of your situation. It can turn deadly in the blink of an eye!We actually lost a very good friend (a Fire Chief from our state) who perished in the California wild fires this summer, so my heart goes out to everyone involved! I'll be keeping you all in my prayers! I hope you stay safe as well!

Maria: BJ slave_o_spike on January 8th, 2009 07:54 am (UTC)
I used to live in So Cal and I remember those fires (and the Santa Anas). I wish you the best too.

*hugs you tightly*

Yeah as for the global warming...the powers on high finally admitted that for the past decade, we've been experiencing a cooling trend and it has nothing to do with man made pollution but just the energy of the sun (which is putting less energy).

So there you go. *shrugs*
liriel1810 on January 8th, 2009 03:54 am (UTC)
Holy frak, Maria! *hugs* That's awful weather you're having! Is your house on stilts?

As for your terrible crossover fanfic... man, those would be soooo bad. lol

As for Spongebob... can a sponge have an arse? But on the other hand, it does have a lot of holes... take your pick! Ooh, there's Spongebob, with his multiple holes, and Patrick, who's a starfish... fun for everyone! Can you say, multiple simultaneous orgasms? I knew you could.

Heh, I can generate my own really bad crossover... Mr Rogers Neighbourhood with Die Hard. Can you say 'die motherfucker'? I knew you could!
Maria: Golem and Spongebobslave_o_spike on January 8th, 2009 03:58 am (UTC)
Okay first off. I just LOVE your new layout and your default icon. He is such a friggin cutie!!!

No, the house is not on stilts. It's actually okay. The house and garage will be okay. It's just the road (which is broken and will have to be fixed soon).

They would be worse than bad. Even I'm not that fucked up to write these. LOL!

So...you can fuck one of his holes?

You're starting to think like me and it's really scary...

And Patrick as a top is just so wrong.

LOL! *pets poor Mr. Rogers*

Yippe ka yay motherfucker!!!!

*hugs liriel*
liriel1810 on January 8th, 2009 04:07 am (UTC)
Thank you! I like my pretty baby boy too. He is rather scrummy.

That's excellent that the house and garage are okay. You might be cut off, but you're not going to be clinging to your roof, waiting for rescue. That would so not be good at any time, but particularly in winter, well hello pneumonia.

I'm quite delighted that you think I'm starting to think like you! It's so much fun!

I'm sure you could fuck one of his holes, or a few. *g* You're right, what was I thinking? Patrick is a total twink! lol

Come on, can't you see Fred and Bruce just getting it on? (okay, now I need some brain bleach *shudders)

*cuddles my waterlogged Maria*
Maria: Hudson Game Over Manslave_o_spike on January 8th, 2009 05:31 am (UTC)
Bruce and Fred?

I am so worried about you...
liriel1810 on January 8th, 2009 05:48 am (UTC)
Bruce Willis and Fred Rogers. *g*

Be afraid, be very afraid. You have no idea what darkness lurks in my brain! Mwahahahahaaha *cough cough*
simplyshanni on January 8th, 2009 04:10 am (UTC)
*bwahahahahahahaha!* Sorry! Sneaking in here to giggle hysterically at Liriel's comment! Okay, I'm done! Thanks for another chance to laugh, you two!

Maria: Bigfoot - I believeslave_o_spike on January 8th, 2009 05:30 am (UTC)
Which one? LOL!

And I am so not writing any crack based on any of these convos. :P

Remember Bigfoot and Gigi?...
simplyshanni on January 8th, 2009 05:33 am (UTC)
*gigglesnort* Don't blame you on that one, sweetie!

And how could I forget Bigfoot?! It was the most brilliant crack! I've ever read!

simplyshanni on January 8th, 2009 05:39 am (UTC)
Oh, I missed the first part of your question! For some reason, the darker brown color seems to cover the first line of every post so it's harder for me to see. I meant everything about Spongebob and Patrick and the multiple holes! *sporfle* I think I half died reading that!

sevigny7sevigny7 on January 8th, 2009 04:19 am (UTC)
Maria, I've missed you so much - and I couldn't even send you a "holiday card" because I've misplaced your address...

I can totally see Sponge Bob with Dagny Taggart - they so deserve each other.

Please stay high and dry.

Maria: Golem and Spongebobslave_o_spike on January 8th, 2009 05:28 am (UTC)
I will send you my addy. :)

I've missed you too. *pets you*

I'm not sure what Spongebob deserves, but maybe a good fucking in one of his holes might be what the doctor ordered to wipe that shit eating grin off his face.

I'll stay high and dry. LOL! That sounds like I'll stay buzzed AND not-buzzed at the same time. :P
sevigny7sevigny7 on January 9th, 2009 02:50 am (UTC)
Someday you can join me at the Home For The Gently Befuddled.
Maria: aliens harsh languageslave_o_spike on January 10th, 2009 04:23 am (UTC)
We can share a bench where we sit and rock back and forth on our haunches while whistling show tunes.
