Megan and uni and some Buffy/Spike/Angel goodness
Megan has been talking about going away to uni all weekend and it finally caught up to me.

New York!

New fucking York!!!!

So when she looked at me, talking about dorm rooms and meal tickets and who is going to go with her to orientation, she stopped long enough to look at me.

"Mom? Why are you crying?"

Like I said, it hit me.

And she's been really huggy with me since then and we watched Troy and The Odyssey together Saturday night while making fun of Orlando Bloom and Eric Bana and Sean Bean and Brad Pitt and then the terrible acting on The Odyssey.

It doesn't make up for the hole that she'll leave in September.

On a lighter note, (yes, I'm changing gears quickly - it's my survival mechanism) I'm putting the finishing touches on a Spike/Angel/Brian Kinney crossover for brianswalk right now.

I hope to have it up by morning (or maybe even later tonight.

Anywho, to get you in the mood, here are two youtube clips I found...on you know...youtube.

The first one is from Angel Season 5 - Smile Time where Angel gets turned into a puppet.

It's pretty self-explanatory:

And this one is from Buffy Season 6 where we get to see Spike in several stages of undress throughout the season. Here's where the Buffster and Spike od it for the first time and literally bring the house down.

*love*

When hubby and I first saw the rape episode, he was like, 'okay. That was unbelievably uncomfortable.'

I had so many issues with that scene. I felt the writers dropped the ball on that one. It's not just because I have the Spike-love, but because it seemed so out of character for him. Seriously.

And yeah. The mother dying episode was pretty hard to watch too. It was realistic. But harsh.

My favorite season will always be S7 when Spike got his soul because Buffy was always there for him now. It was very dark, but it had its moments.
