There's a bit of controversy over it. Here's the article.
I seriously think people have a major stick up their ass. I remember doing something like this when I was in junior high. It was funny.
I lived in southern California then and there was the same problem with immigration then as there is now. I don't think anyone was offended, and that included my best friend and her family who happened to be Mexican.
What's your take on it? You can state whatever you want. I won't bite your head off. I just want to hear someone else's opinion on it.
And on a lighter note (or not, depending on what you think of horror anthologies), I just discovered FEWDIO.com. Here is their youtube channel.
The shorts run anywhere between one and a half minutes to just a little over six. (one, titled 'Marie' runs for about 11 minutes).
It's just a little bit of 5 minute heaven (well, hell, to be truthful) in every short. some are dumb and some are brilliant.
This one is one of my favorites, just for the last line alone (the punch line if you will). Oh, and check out the cthulhu statue on her nightstand at 4:13. LOL!
I'm not sure if you know this or not, but I am actually not a fan of gore. I like a good suspense mixed in with my horror and then the punchline to be hard hitting. Some of these shorts understand that and rely on that and it works. Some don't and they fall flat on their face. And some have to have just a wee bit of gore in them in order to convey what is going on. The ending just makes me laugh at the irony of the conversation she had just had.
