So I prepared fresh horseradish today.

My eyes will recover soon. Although, I think I just invented poison gas. LOL! I had to leave the kitchen and escape so I'm here right now (despite the wonderful ventilation system hubby installed, you have to turn it on before you open the food processor lid).

Have you ever seen a horseradish root? I brought one home from Safeway the other day and left it on the counter.

Everyone wanted to know where I dug the old femur bone from. Seriously, it looks like some kind of bone, or relic or something you would use in a voodoo ritual.

I wish I had taken a picture of it before I chopped it up in the food processor.

Oh! Last night, I watched one of my most favorite movies of all time - 1967's The Taming of the Shrew, Franco Zeffirelli's wonderful adaption of Shakespeare's comedy. Elizabeth Taylor is beautiful, Richard Burton is perfect and Michael York is kinda hot. The costumes, the acting - everything is perfect and I've loved this movie forever this also happens to be my favorite of Shakespeare's comedies so it was a good thing the movie was so good). I first had the VHS and then I got the DVD.

However, when I went to youtube to get the trailer and post it here, I noticed that they're showing it there in 14 parts.

Here is part 1 in case you were wanting to watch something on a lazy Sunday afternoon:

I remember doing Taming of the Shrew for a Thespian competition so many years ago (high school years aghad!!!) I did that final speech that Elizabeth Taylor stated so amazingly... I remember memorizing each line and then turning on the movie and reciting it along with her until I had it down perfect. Proud moment for me LOL

Isn't she just gorgeous in this film. OMG! She's beautiful. And the way the lines just spill from her is utterly amazing.

I'm glad it worked out for you. :)
